Coldplay is a British Pop Rock Band that formed in London in 1997 at the University College. The group is helmed by Chris Martin whose acclaimed falsetto and skilled piano and guitar playing have pushed the band to worldwide fame. Lead guitarist Jonny Buckland and bassists Guy Berryman contribute their guitar riffs to the melodic sound, while drummer Will Champion handles all percussion duties. Coldplay has sold over 30 million albums throughout the world. Coldplay’s tour will take to them several cities including Hartford on 05-23.
