As of now, Kenny Chesney has produced more than thirty top ten singles on the US Billboard Hot Country charts. Kenny Chesney has also received six ACM and five CMA awards. Kenny Chesney is one of the most popular touring country artists, selling out venues nationwide. Kenny Chesney’s 2007 Flip-Flop summer tour was the highest grossing country tour of 2007. Kenny Chesney has worked with many great artists including Tracy Lawrence and Rascal Flatts. Kenny Chesney’s most recent and fourteenth album entitled Lucky Old sun was released on October 14th, 2008. The first single off the album “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven” became a number one hit; it was followed by a cover of Mac McAnaly’s 1990 single “Down the Road”. On December 2, 2008 Kenny Chesney announced that he will perform at Gillette Stadium in 2009 once again, making it the fifth year in a row that he will have played at the Foxboro, Massachusetts football field.
