09-15-09 Mark Knopfler will bring his sweet guitar sounds to the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket on 2010-05-01. Mark Knopfler released 'Kill to Get Crimson' in late 2007 and embarking on a US and Europe Tour in 2008. His set will contain cuts from the new album as well as earlier works from his solo career and his days leading Dire Straits. If you are a fan of folk oriented music and not familiar with Knopfler's work then you must see him in concert. He is one of the best guitar players and songwriters of our time and a shoe for the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. His music will be many artist's inspiration for the next 50 years.
